TO: gaignun.kukai@compass.net FROM: urtv.669@compass.net SUBJECT: We need to talk
MESSAGE: I'm still not sure if this is the right address, but I'm hoping it is. It's the only one this network system will give me.
Rubedo, I haven't been able to find Albedo for some time. I had hoped that he was simply sulking on his own. This place likes to disrupt the link from my end. This time, I might be wrong. Maybe you know where he is? I don't trust him enough for him to be on his own.
Another thing I want to ask: who is "gaignun.kukai"? I've made plenty of attempts to make the system edit my own address to no success. There's something you're really not telling me.
I apologize for the email first. That's overly impersonal of me, but I've been having a hard time asking in words out loud. Please get back to me soon.
[There's a good long while before he replies, if only because welp the cat's out of the bag now, plus Nigredo's e-mail confirmed what his own link had been telling him - or lack thereof would probably be the best term.
The e-mail that comes back sounds a lot more relaxed than anything close to how he's really feeling at this point, but he supposed that Nigredo would figure it out quickly enough.]
yeah, it's all kind of a really long story. There anyplace you want to meet up? It'd be easier to talk about in person.
[If it helps, the casualness of the email is actually a good thing. Nigredo's been a little on edge. Not afraid, exactly, but definitely uncertain of what to expect, which is always uncomfortable for him. The relaxed appearance did a surpringly good number on erelaxing those ruffled nerves.]
I understand. Not many people are bothering the classrooms past the quad. I've been making minor repairs to one of the farthest, that'll be the safest.
